Swami Devi Dyal Law College started functioning in 2007-2008. The College is approved by Bar Council of India and is affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. The ambience and serenity of the Law College provides a healthy environment for the studies.

The College has highly qualified, experienced and vibrant teaching faculty which provides an excellent blend of rigor and relevance in teaching. Students touch the lives of wide cross section of the society by visiting old age home and villages. Students and faculty actively participate in outreach programmes, where they contribute their knowledge and provide technical expertise to community by visiting various schools and colleges. College encourages and propels graduates to imbibe the qualities of leadership and thereby instills in them a level of trust and confidence.

College is having well equipped library, innovative pedagogy comprising case based, interactive teaching and experimental learning. Extensive interaction with legal luminaries (Judges/Advocates/Professors). Teaching is done through text books, projectors and online Journals. Regular visits are organized to the High Court and District Courts. Moot Courts and debates are conducted by qualified teachers and advocates to enhance the legal aptitude of law students. Through the determined strategic and committed efforts and endeavors, we are building the careers of law students by providing plethora of co-curricular activities, in conjunction with practical aspects.

Dr. Richa Ranjan, B.A., LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M. ,Ph.D. ( M.D. University, Rohtak), Diploma in Labour Laws, Post Graduate Diploma in Human Rights and Certificate Course in Negligence and Laws. To provide value education, sincere efforts are made by Dr. Richa Ranjan. She has got good academic and administrative credentials and has 23 years of relevant experience in legal field. She has supervised research leading to LL.M. and Ph.D. Degree. She has published many research papers in legal journals of national and International repute. She has been a team leader throughout her professional career by orgainising various co-curricular activities e.g. Legal Aid Clinics, Mock Parliament and Moot Competitions in the College.

Admission Procedure

The admission in LLB courses will be made as per the guidelines issued by the State Government/Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra.

As per Haryana Government policy, applicable to self financing Institutions.

Legal Aid Clinic

College has its own Legal Aid Clinic. The Legal Aid Clinic is conducted by students and faculty members in collaboration with District Legal Service Authority, Panchkula. Judges and Advocates from DLSA provide training to our Law Students, so as to facilitate their services for legal aid in field work. In association with DLSA, College, after every six months, participates in Legal Aid Camp at Mansa Devi Temple during Navratras for nine days. In collaboration with DLSA, our college timely keeps on organizing Legal Aid Camps in nearby villages to impart basic legal knowledge to villagers. Students excel themselves by doing skits on social-issues in villages and on other platforms.

The events organized by the college, are in true sense, an effort by the college to reform the society and it is also providing an opportunity to law students to render their participatory support.

Eligibility for 3 & 5 Years LLB Program



3 Years

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree is any discipline from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, or equivalent, with 45% marks in aggregate for General & 42.75% marks for SC/ST candidates.

5 Years

Passed 10 + 2 of Board of School Education, Haryana or equivalent recognized examination with English as one of the subjects, securing not less than 45% marks (42.75% for reserved category).
