TEACHING METHODOLOGY
Learning is facilitated in the Department with the help of extensive industry projects, role plays, management games and case studies to connect knowledge with current business practices. The program focuses on contemporary issues facing the industry and hence industry visits and guest lectures by eminent business personalities form an integral part of curriculum.
WORKSHOP, SEMINAR & CONFERENCES
The Department organizes regular workshops/ seminars for the development of faculty and students. Some of the workshops/seminars organized by the Department include Marketing Research, Communication Skills Development, Financial Strategic Management, Recent Development in Human Resource and Entrepreneurship.
INDUSTRIAL VISITS
Every Semester regular Industrial Visits are conducted for the academic benefits & practical orientation of students.
PLACEMENTS
The Department has a full time placement cell. During the academic session 2017-18, all the students got placed through campus placement drives.
Library
The library has about 2500 books on General Management subjects and in the specialized fields of Human Resource, Marketing and Finance. In addition, the library subscribes to 14 International and National Management journals for use by the faculty and students.
Computer Labs
The Department has two well equipped Computer labs with more than 60 computers where the students receive practical training on Software and E-commerce. The labs are wi-fi networked and the students have unlimited internet access.
